HISTORICAL FICTION ENTRY

A long time ago School of Rock was an office/meeting room. I can imagine the commanders walking in the office/meeting room and talking about plans with other commanders. It’s likely that the commanders would receive phone calls from other commanders. They might have also had to take notes on important things. Right outside the offices there was also a training lawn. The navy sailors would train on the training lawn and march until they got their marching PERFECT!!! I can imagine when the tired navy sailors were done marching they would go home to their barracks and the second their heads touched their pillow they would fall asleep.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

School of Rock helps our community by teaching people to love music. One way School of Rock helps our community is by encouraging people to learn different types of music. Some kids don’t enjoy sports, so School of Rock teaches them to love music. These kids can get really good at playing instruments which makes them feel good about themselves. It also brings joy to their life. You should know School of Rock has helped our community in lots of different ways but these are just a couple of them!

INTERVIEW (present day worker)

We interviewed Mr. Tyler and Mr. Dan. They work at School of Rock. Mr. Tyler is the owner of School of Rock. Mr. Dan is a music teacher. He has students from 5 years old to 80 years old. Mr. Dan knows a lot of instruments like the guitar, the drums, even the piano! Mr. Dan told us that his students can wait in a lounge until their music class starts. Mr. Tyler and Mr. Dan are great music teachers. School of Rock is a good place to go.

KID CONNECTION

You should come to School of Rock with your kids. At School of Rock there is a room with two pianos. My friends were playing beautiful songs on the pianos. There is a room for kids to wait for their music lessons to start. In that room they can play foosball and video games. They can also eat a snack while they wait. There is a big music room with a keyboard, drums, a bongo, and a tambourine. There is also a microphone that you can sing into. You can come here and practice instruments with your friends and make your own band! That is why you should come to School of Rock.
