HISTORICAL FICTION ENTRY

Long ago Five Guys used to be a Navy hospital. I can imagine sailors walking into the hospital with an injured arm and a nurse wrapping the sailor’s arm with some bandages  or a cast. I can imagine a lot of injured sailors waiting in the waiting room for a doctor or a nurse to help the injured sailors. I can imagine sailors helping their injured friends get to the hospital. The hospital was a very important part of NTC.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Five Guys is a great restaurant. People can eat peanuts while they are waiting. They could also have yummy hamburgers and milkshakes, as well as the freshly baked french-fries made by peanut oil and potatoes. You could drink soda from the fountain. Also 5 Guys help the community by feeding the highschoolers at lunchtime. You should come here well of course because of all the reasons up above. Remember go to Five Guys!!!!

INTERVIEW (present day worker)

We interviewed Mr. Michael who is the manager of Five Guys. Mr. Michael wears a red shirt because he is the manager. The other workers wear a white Five Guys shirt. I learned that at Five Guys they use fresh potatoes to make their fries. Mr. Michael told us that it takes two minutes to cook the fries. When the fries are ready, the fries stay fresh for two hours. The Coca Cola box is called a fountain. They have a lot of different flavors to choose from. They have fresh patties for burgers. They also have different flavors of milk shakes Mr. Michael is an awesome manager. You should meet him and you should go to Five Guys because it’s a really great place to eat!

KID CONNECTION

Kids should definitely go to Five Guys so they could have fun! You and your family can go there. The employees have lots of energy and it seems like they love to have that job! The soda machines are great for kids because kids LOVE soda and they have lots of flavors & categories. The manager told us that there are over 200 soda flavors!! Also, there is a whiteboard where it says where their fresh potatoes come from. So if you are ever hungry in Liberty Station you and your family should go to Five Guys!!!
