HISTORICAL FICTION ENTRY

Long ago it’s possible that Luna Grill was a barber shop, cafeteria or a post office. I can imagine a recruit walking all the way across NTC to the post office to send a letter to his or her missed family. Next, he or she would go to the cafeteria to eat lunch. I bet the food was good. At last, he or she would go to the barber shop to have a haircut. All NTC boy recruits had to have short hair to keep their hair away from their faces. Once the recruit was done with their errands, they would go back to the barracks.  He or she would think about how he or she misses their family.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

Luna Grill is on the corner of Womble Road and Historic Decatur Road. Luna Grill has good food and they do fundraisers. A fundraiser is when a place sells something and half of the money goes to an organization in need of money. Luna Grill does a lot of fundraisers. Luna Grill is awesome because a lot of people love Luna Grill. It helps our community by people coming to eat food there and it helps by doing fundraisers. Luna Grill has healthy food for kids and grown ups. I think Luna Grill is one of the best restaurants in Liberty Station. if you haven't gone to Luna Grill yet you should go and try it.

INTERVIEW (present day worker)

The person that works at Luna Grill is Mr.Elbert. Mr.Elbert is the general manager. He has been working there for 3 years. Mr.Elbert makes sure employees get paid and makes the schedule. Mr.Elbert makes sure the food is ordered. He makes sure people are happy and safe. Luna Grill has been in Liberty Station for 4 years. If you like healthy food made from scratch, maybe you can work at Luna Grill too.

KID CONNECTION

Why is Luna Grill good for kids? It is because at Luna Grill, they have healthy food made from scratch. WOW! Luna Grill has very good chicken that kids love. They also have very good desserts. On Tuesdays kids can eat free! Kids  can have fish, meat and chicken. Kids can have lots of meals and that is why Luna Grill is good for kids.
